As Chief Technology Officer, Raimund is responsible for introducing new methods to detect and eradicate threats, and manages a team of developers and researchers around the globe who create Trend Micro’s new core technology components.
Raimund has held several executive management positions within Trend Micro including General Manager for Trend Micro’s Incubation Business, President of European Operations; European Vice President of Sales and Marketing; and Managing Director.
Sushma joined Trend Micro in 2009 after having worked with leading distributors in MEA and India. As Regional Channel Manager, Sushma is responsible for creating and defining channel structure to achieve targets, stability and focus.
One of her key focuses is working with the Channel to help empower and enable them in order to build a successful partnership. With 15 years of channel experience she also looks after MEA distribution management and runs a team of channel account managers responsible for achieving the regional sales targets.
Rik Ferguson brings more than seventeen years of security technology experience to his role as Global VP Security Research at Trend Micro. In this position, Rik is actively engaged in research into online threats and the underground economy. He also researches the wider implications of new developments in the Information Technology arena and their impact on security both for consumers and in the enterprise, contributing to product development and marketing plans.
Rik writes the CounterMeasures blog and is the lead spokesperson for Trend Micro. He is often interviewed by the BBC, CNN, CNBC, Channel 4, Sky News and Al-Jazeera and quoted by national newspapers and trade publications throughout the world. Rik also makes a regular appearance as a presenter at global industry events. Remaining actively engaged in customer projects, Rik tries to ensure his views and areas of research reflect the security concerns as experienced by enterprises and individuals as they come to grips with new technologies. In April 2011 Rik was formally inducted into the InfoSecurity Hall of Fame.
Prior to assuming his current role, Rik served as Solutions Architect at Trend Micro. Previously, he served as Security Infrastructure Specialist at EDS where he led the security design work for government projects related to justice and law enforcement and as Senior Product Engineer at McAfee focused on network security, intrusion prevention, encryption and content filtering.
Rik Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wales and is a Certified Ethical Hacker and CISSP-ISSAP in good standing.
Dave is responsible for thought leadership and technology evangelism for Trend Micro’s cloud computing and virtualization businesses. Dave co-chairs the Cloud Security Alliance Virtualization Working Group, sits on RSA China’s Program Committee, and is a Cloud2-SLG Commissioner. He is a sought after keynote speaker who spoke at more than 40 events internationally in 2011. His writing on the cloud has been published by the New York Times and Fortune and he is quoted frequently. He runs a top 100 ranked cloud security blog.
In this role Tom Kellermann is a trusted advisor on cybersecurity, responsible for strategic partnerships, government affairs, and analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats and relevant defensive technologies. He has served as a Commissioner on The Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency and serves on the board of the International Cybersecurity Protection Alliance (ICSPA). Tom sits on many boards including: National Cybersecurity Protection Alliance, the National Board of Information Security Examiners Panel for Penetration Testing, the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council, and the Information Technology Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC) subcommittee on International Cybersecurity policy.
Tom is a Professor at American University's School of International Service and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He is co-author of "E-safety and Soundness: Securing Finance in a New Age."
